Wear WordPress bling with WP Jewels

WP Jewels earrings

Love WordPress and want to show it off on your body? You could buy a t-shirt or get tattooed, but how about some jewelry? WP Jewels is an independent store that peddles WordPress jewelry. Currently there are two products: dangling earrings and a pendant, both sporting the WP logo.

The online store policies are standard: free shipping to the USA, payment is via PayPal, and there’s a 30-day money back guarantee. Oddly enough this store doesn’t seem to be running on WordPress, which takes away from how “hardcore” of a WP fan the creator of the site really is.

But the question is, how much of a WP fan are you? Would you wear WordPress jewelry?

WordCamp Philippines 2009 early registration begins

July 14, 2009 | No Comments Yet

WordCamp Philippines is less 2 months away and registration is now open. The earlier you pay, the less you spend.

Right now it only costs Php500 or $12 for a ticket, which includes lunch and freebies. This rate lasts only until August 8. Unfortunately they only accept PayPal, but I expect that to change pretty soon.

Also watch out for t-shirts and stickers that will be sold online. Can’t wait for the e-store to come back!

Related Ways to Take Action is a WordPress plugin that analyzes your blog posts and displays related links that encourages readers to take social action.

The WordPress plugin works by scanning each of your posts for the top three keywords and then searches for related actions from Change.org, GlobalGiving.com, Idealist.org, DonorsChoose.org, Kiva, Care2 and over twenty other Social Action Platforms. It then automatically loads the top three campaigns for those keywords at the bottom of each of your posts.

It’s part of the Change the Web challenge, which invites people to promote social change using web-based tools. Aside from WordPress, web companies like PayPal, Mozilla, and Mashable are participating.
